There are statistics, articles and data to support any argument, if you look hard enough.
I didn't have to look hard to find this information and neither should you.

CAMPAIGN PRESENCE WORKS

Campaigns such as C.A.L.M. and The Man Up Campaign show that the more attention put on male health issues, the more men who come forward.

In 2018/19, C.A.L.M. built their "brand through increased and more regular campaign presence"

In that same year, their total demand increased by over 100% compared to 3 years prior. They also prevented 100% more suicides.

(C.A.L.M. Impact Report 2018-19)

1/3 VICTIMS ARE MALE

For every 3 victims of domestic abuse, 2 will be female, 1 will be male.

In 2018/19, 1.6 million women were victims of domestic abuse.

In the same year, 786,000 men were victims too.

Several statistics inform that men are more likely to be victims of specific types of abuse.

Between 2016/18, men statistically suffered 12.4% more family abuse than women.

MEN DON'T SPEAK UP

Nearly half of male victims fail to tell anyone they are a victim of domestic abuse.

In 2017/18, only 50.8% of reported male victims told anyone (such as police, counsellors, family, friends, work colleagues etc.)

In the same year, 81.3% of reported female victims told someone.

People don't speak up enough; there should be more advice and guidance out there for everyone, to save and support lives.

By limiting the amount of support out there for men because they are the 'minority' is surely silencing them further given that they are always less likely to speak up.

PHYSICAL INJURIES

Statistically, a greater percentage of men suffered physical injuries than women.

In 2017/18, of those that suffered from partner abuse, 32% of men and 23% of women suffered a physical injury.

In the same year, whilst 1.3% more women suffered from severe bruising and bleeding, 4.3% of men suffered from internal injuries or broken bones/teeth (0.4% women).
